Growing Potatoes In a Bucket...

My class of 11 has decided to enter a competition. We are growing a potato in a bucket. We are doing a fundraiser for a charity for people with Alzheimer's. If you don't have a lot of space you can grow a potato in a bucket. Drill a few holes in the bottom of the bucket and fill it half way with potting mix. Put a seed potato on top, then fill the bucket with more potting mix as the stems grow bigger.

Our class has gotten into groups and we made a collaborative piece of art between our groups. Food chain art. We did a lion food chain. Lion eats a bear a bear eats a snake and a snake eats a bunny. The lion is the Apex consumer the bear is the secondary consumer the snake is the primary consumer and the bunny is the consumer.

Hello, In our class today we were exploring food chains. E.g a bird, flower and a caterpillar. The caterpillar eats the flower and the bird eats the caterpillar. That is a food chain.

Mamma Mia!

Hi!
Welcome back to my blog. Last night I went to the musical,  Mamma Mia. A group of people 13+ auditioned to be in the play/musical. I really enjoyed it. I really wanted to go in the play but I couldn't because im only 10 years old.
Fun fact: Mamma Mia is one of my favourite movies. When we were about to walk into the War Memorial Theatre we saw an old mini cooper car that said Mamma Mia on it. I'm going next week with my friend Miriam to see it again. I was a little bit disappointed that 'Donna' didn't look at all like 'Donna'. The real Donna has blonde hair but the Donna in the play had red hair. Thank you for reading my blog post seeing Mamma Mia, the musical!

Hello, My name is Adrianna. I am a year 6 at Saint Mary's School, Gisborne. I am Vice Captain of Blue House, Saint Mary Mackillop. I live with my brother and my parents. I was born in Spain and I now live in Gisborne. I am half Spanish and half Kiwi.

I love gymnastics and I do it every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I sing in my band and I take singing lessons. I do swimming on a Thursday for half an hour. I'm in Step 2 for gymnastics. My favorite subject is art. Welcome to my blog!
